Inequality Basics

Inequality

In an algebraic expressions if the consonants and variables in the Left hand side are not equal to the consonants and variables on the right hand side. are known as inequalities. They are related by the symbols “>”, “<”, “≥”, “≤”. Thus a relationship between two values that are not equal is defined by inequalities. Inequality means not equal. As a topic inequality is all about comparison between two or more than two variables.

In this topic we have to compare between variables and we have to conclude them. For comparison basically we use some symbols.

SOME BASIC SYMBOLS OF INEQUALITY

>   Greater rightarrow A > B Rightarrow A is greater than B.

<   Less rightarrow A < B  Rightarrow is less than B.

=  Equal rightarrow A = B Rightarrow A is equal B.

Note :  >, < and = these inequality symbols are definite symbols.
